TÓM TẮT
Keycrawler chạy trên máy tính của bạn. Nó không chứa công cụ phân tích hành vi,
không đo lường từ xa và không báo cáo việc sử dụng, và nó không bao giờ gửi dữ
liệu crawl, cấu hình, khoá API hay khoá bản quyền của bạn tới chúng tôi.
Mọi thứ Keycrawler lưu, nó lưu trên máy của bạn. Mọi thứ Keycrawler gửi đi, nó
gửi tới site bạn yêu cầu crawl và các host mà site đó liên kết tới, hoặc tới
một dịch vụ bên thứ ba mà chính bạn chọn dùng.
Phần còn lại của chính sách này nói chính xác điều đó, vì một tuyên bố về quyền
riêng tư mà không kiểm chứng được thì vô giá trị.
1. CHÚNG TÔI LÀ AI
Keycrawler do KeyTools phát hành, một cá nhân kinh doanh có trụ sở tại Việt
Nam. Đối với phần dữ liệu cá nhân hạn chế mô tả ở mục 5 -- hồ sơ giao dịch và
thư từ hỗ trợ -- KeyTools là bên kiểm soát dữ liệu. Bạn liên hệ chúng tôi tại
support@keytools.top.
Đối với bất cứ thứ gì Keycrawler thu thập từ các website bạn crawl, BẠN là bên
kiểm soát. Chúng tôi không phải bên xử lý dữ liệu đó, vì chúng tôi không bao
giờ nhận nó.
NẾU BẠN CRAWL NHỮNG TRANG CÓ CHỨA DỮ LIỆU CÁ NHÂN -- tên, địa chỉ email, bình
luận, tên tác giả -- thì bạn đang xử lý dữ liệu cá nhân, và pháp luật về bảo vệ
dữ liệu đặt ra nghĩa vụ cho BẠN đối với dữ liệu đó. Keycrawler không miễn trừ
cho bạn khỏi những nghĩa vụ đó. Dữ liệu ấy nằm trên máy tính của bạn trừ khi
chính bạn gửi nó đi đâu đó, và mục 3.2 mô tả những tính năng làm việc đó.
Chúng tôi đặt trụ sở ngoài Vương quốc Anh và Khu vực Kinh tế châu Âu. Ở nơi mà
UK GDPR hoặc EU GDPR yêu cầu chúng tôi chỉ định một đại diện theo Điều 27, tên
và địa chỉ của đại diện đó sẽ được công bố tại mục này.
Với tư cách bên kiểm soát đặt trụ sở tại Việt Nam, chúng tôi cũng chịu sự điều
chỉnh của pháp luật Việt Nam về bảo vệ dữ liệu cá nhân, bên cạnh mọi nghĩa vụ
chúng tôi có với bạn theo pháp luật nước bạn sinh sống.
Chúng tôi chưa chỉ định cán bộ bảo vệ dữ liệu, và không bắt buộc phải chỉ định:
chúng tôi không thực hiện việc giám sát có hệ thống trên quy mô lớn đối với cá
nhân và không xử lý các loại dữ liệu đặc biệt.
2. KEYCRAWLER LƯU GÌ TRÊN MÁY TÍNH CỦA BẠN
Phần lớn những gì Keycrawler ghi ra nằm trong thư mục hồ sơ người dùng của
chính bạn, tại %USERPROFILE%\Keycrawler:
crawls\ Cơ sở dữ liệu crawl. Mỗi lần crawl ghi một tệp SQLite chứa
các URL, header phản hồi, nội dung trang, liên kết, hình
ảnh và các chỉ số tính được của site bạn đã crawl. Nếu bạn
bật lưu tài nguyên, một tệp thứ hai bên cạnh, đuôi
.assets.db, giữ HTML trang đã nén và ảnh chụp màn hình; nó
thường là tệp lớn nhất sản phẩm ghi ra.
config\ settings.json, chứa cấu hình của bạn cùng mọi khoá API bên
thứ ba và token Google OAuth bạn nhập; license.key nếu bạn
đã kích hoạt bản quyền; google_client.json nếu bạn cung cấp
OAuth client Google của riêng mình; và thư mục profiles nếu
bạn lưu các cấu hình.
logs\ Nhật ký ứng dụng, một tệp faulthandler, và các báo cáo sự
cố tên crash_<thời gian>.txt nếu ứng dụng gặp lỗi.
scheduled\ Thư mục kết quả mặc định cho các lần crawl chạy theo lịch.
history.db Ghi nhận các lần crawl trước đây, nằm ở gốc thư mục.
Tệp khoá bản quyền của bạn chứa địa chỉ email mà khoá được cấp cho, tên gói và
ngày hết hạn, ở dạng bạn có thể giải mã và đọc được.
HAI THỨ ĐƯỢC GHI RA NGOÀI THƯ MỤC ĐÓ, nên xoá thư mục đó không xoá được chúng:
- Nếu bạn dùng render JavaScript, một bản Chromium khoảng 150 MB được tải
về %LOCALAPPDATA%\ms-playwright.
- Nếu bạn đặt lịch crawl, Keycrawler tạo một Tác vụ theo lịch của Windows.
Windows lưu tác vụ đó ngoài hồ sơ người dùng. Gỡ cài đặt Keycrawler KHÔNG
xoá nó; hãy xoá lịch trong Keycrawler trước, hoặc xoá tác vụ trong Windows
Task Scheduler.
Không thứ nào trong số đó được tải lên. Báo cáo sự cố được ghi ra đĩa để bạn
đọc và gửi cho chúng tôi nếu bạn muốn; Keycrawler không tự truyền chúng đi.
Gỡ cài đặt Keycrawler không xoá %USERPROFILE%\Keycrawler. Để xoá dữ liệu của
bạn, hãy tự xoá thư mục đó, và lưu ý hai ngoại lệ ở trên.
3. CÁI GÌ RỜI KHỎI MÁY BẠN, VÀ KHI NÀO
Keycrawler không phát ra yêu cầu mạng nào cho tới khi bạn yêu cầu. Không có kết
nối chạy nền, không có kiểm tra cập nhật và không có máy chủ bản quyền.
3.1 Website bạn crawl, và các host nó liên kết tới.
Khi bạn bắt đầu một lần crawl, Keycrawler yêu cầu các trang từ địa chỉ bạn
nhập, theo cách một trình duyệt vẫn làm. Những yêu cầu đó xuất phát từ mạng
của bạn và mang theo địa chỉ IP của bạn. Bạn chịu trách nhiệm về việc có
quyền thực hiện chúng.
MỘT LẦN CRAWL KHÔNG DỪNG LẠI Ở SITE BẠN NHẬP. Nó còn yêu cầu:
- mọi trang hoặc tệp mà site liên kết tới trên tên miền khác, vì không
thể kiểm tra một liên kết mà không hỏi xem nó có phản hồi không;
- các tài nguyên mà trang nạp từ host khác, như hình ảnh, stylesheet,
script và font;
- đích của mọi chuyển hướng mà một trang trả về, kể cả chuyển hướng ra
khỏi site;
- các URL được nêu bởi hreflang, rel=next và rel=prev, kể cả khi chúng
nằm trên tên miền khác.
Tuỳ chọn "Fetch resources" làm giảm điều này nhưng KHÔNG dừng hẳn. Khi tắt
tuỳ chọn đó, Keycrawler không còn đi theo các liên kết thường và tài nguyên
phụ ra ngoài site -- nhưng nó VẪN đi theo đích chuyển hướng, và VẪN yêu cầu
các URL hreflang, rel=next và rel=prev, dù chúng trỏ đi đâu.
NẾU BẠN BẬT RENDER JAVASCRIPT, bản Chromium đi kèm nạp từng trang đúng như
một trình duyệt, và do đó yêu cầu mọi thứ trang đó đòi hỏi: script,
stylesheet, font, pixel theo dõi, beacon phân tích và mọi yêu cầu bên thứ
ba khác mà trang phát ra. Tuỳ chọn "Fetch resources" KHÔNG chi phối điều
này. Một tuỳ chọn riêng chặn hình ảnh, media và font trong lúc render; mọi
thứ khác vẫn được yêu cầu.
Riêng biệt, phép kiểm liên kết ngoài gửi một yêu cầu HEAD tới mọi URL bên
ngoài mà lần crawl tìm thấy, để xem nó còn phản hồi không. Việc đó chỉ chạy
khi bạn khởi động phép kiểm ấy.
KEYCRAWLER TỰ XƯNG LÀ GÌ. Theo mặc định nó tự nhận là một phiên bản Google
Chrome gần đây, KHÔNG phải là Keycrawler, vì nhiều site trả về mã nguồn
khác nhau cho một client chúng không nhận ra. Bạn có thể đổi điều này trong
phần Cấu hình Crawl. Một lựa chọn tự nhận đúng tên và phiên bản sản phẩm.
Ba lựa chọn cố ý tự nhận là Googlebot Desktop, Googlebot Mobile hoặc
Bingbot, và bạn chỉ nên dùng chúng trên các site bạn được phép crawl. Một
lựa chọn nữa cho phép bạn tự gõ bất kỳ chuỗi định danh nào. Phép kiểm liên
kết ngoài luôn gửi định danh Chrome và không chịu ảnh hưởng của tuỳ chọn
này.
3.2 Dịch vụ bên thứ ba.
Mỗi dịch vụ dưới đây chỉ chạy khi bạn gọi tính năng dùng nó. Phần lớn cần
thông tin xác thực do bạn cung cấp, và nếu bạn không bao giờ cấu hình một
dịch vụ, Keycrawler không bao giờ liên hệ nó. Hai dịch vụ KHÔNG cần thông
tin xác thực, và chúng được đánh dấu.

Gửi đi: token OAuth của bạn và site hoặc thuộc tính bạn chọn.
Bạn kết nối chúng qua màn hình đăng nhập của chính Google. Token thu
được lưu trong config\settings.json trên máy bạn.
Google PageSpeed Insights

Gửi đi: các URL bạn yêu cầu đo, và khoá API của bạn nếu bạn đã nhập.
KHÔNG CẦN THÔNG TIN XÁC THỰC. Khoá API nâng hạn mức gọi, nhưng phép đo
vẫn chạy khi không có khoá, và tuỳ chọn dòng lệnh --pagespeed sẽ gửi
các URL đã crawl của bạn tới Google dù đã từng cấu hình khoá hay chưa.
Google sau đó tự tải các URL đó từ hạ tầng của họ.
Phân tích AI (nhà cung cấp nào tuỳ bạn cấu hình)

Gửi đi: khoá API của bạn, cùng nội dung trang, các chỉ số và bản tóm
tắt lần crawl mà phân tích nói về. ĐÂY LÀ LUỒNG DỮ LIỆU RA LỚN NHẤT
trong sản phẩm. Nếu các trang bạn crawl chứa dữ liệu bí mật hoặc dữ
liệu cá nhân, dữ liệu đó được gửi tới nhà cung cấp AI bạn đã chọn, và
điều khoản cùng chính sách bảo mật của nhà cung cấp đó sẽ áp dụng cho
nó. Đừng bật phân tích AI trên một lần crawl mà nội dung bạn không được
phép tiết lộ.
Nhà cung cấp dữ liệu backlink
api.ahrefs.com, api.majestic.com, lsapi.seomoz.com
Gửi đi: khoá API của bạn và các tên miền hoặc URL bạn hỏi.
Kiểm tra chính tả và ngữ pháp
api.languagetool.org theo mặc định, hoặc bất kỳ địa chỉ nào bạn gõ
Gửi đi: toàn văn các trang đang được kiểm.
KHÔNG CẦN THÔNG TIN XÁC THỰC, và Keycrawler không có ô nhập khoá
LanguageTool. Địa chỉ máy chủ là một tuỳ chọn bạn đổi được, nên toàn
văn mọi trang được kiểm sẽ đi tới bất kỳ host nào nằm trong ô đó. Mặc
định là dịch vụ công cộng của LanguageTool. Nếu nội dung là quan trọng,
hãy trỏ nó tới một máy chủ LanguageTool bạn tự vận hành.
Xuất sang Trello
api.trello.com
Gửi đi: khoá và token Trello của bạn, cùng các thẻ bạn chọn tạo. Những
thẻ đó mang theo URL đã crawl cùng tiêu đề, thẻ heading và mô tả meta
của chúng, nên tính năng này GỬI DỮ LIỆU CRAWL tới Trello.
Tải trình duyệt render
Máy chủ phân phối của chính Playwright
Gửi đi: không gì ngoài chính yêu cầu tải về.
Render JavaScript cần một bản Chromium khoảng 150 MB. Nếu chưa cài,
Keycrawler hiện nút "Install Chromium"; bấm nút đó sẽ chạy công cụ
Playwright đi kèm, và công cụ này tải Chromium từ máy chủ của
Playwright. Việc này chỉ xảy ra khi bạn bấm nút đó. Keycrawler không
tải gì khác và không bao giờ kiểm tra cập nhật cho chính nó.
Kiểm tra proxy
api.ipify.org
Gửi đi: không gì ngoài chính yêu cầu đó, đi qua proxy bạn đã cấu hình,
để phản hồi cho bạn thấy địa chỉ IP mà một website sẽ nhìn thấy. Việc
này chỉ chạy khi bạn bấm nút Kiểm tra bên cạnh phần cấu hình proxy.
3.3 Cái gì không bao giờ được gửi tới chúng tôi.
Khoá bản quyền, cơ sở dữ liệu crawl, tệp cấu hình, nhật ký, báo cáo sự cố
của bạn, và bất kỳ dấu vết nào cho thấy bạn đã cài hay đã chạy Keycrawler.
Không thứ nào trong số đó tới được KeyTools bằng bất kỳ đường nào, vào bất
kỳ lúc nào.
Đây là tuyên bố về CHÚNG TÔI, không phải về cả thế giới. Mục 3.1 và 3.2 mô
tả mọi thứ đi tới nơi khác, và tất cả đều đi vì bạn yêu cầu.
4. XÁC MINH BẢN QUYỀN
Keycrawler xác minh khoá bản quyền của bạn ngay trên máy tính của bạn bằng chữ
ký khoá công khai. Nó không liên hệ máy chủ bản quyền, không báo cáo lượt kích
hoạt, và hoạt động hoàn toàn khi không có kết nối internet.
Do đó chúng tôi không có bất kỳ ghi nhận nào về việc bạn dùng Phần mềm khi nào,
ở đâu hay bao nhiêu lần.
5. DỮ LIỆU CÁ NHÂN CHÚNG TÔI CÓ GIỮ
Chúng tôi chỉ giữ dữ liệu cá nhân khi bạn trực tiếp đưa cho chúng tôi, hoặc khi
một khoản thanh toán bạn thực hiện cho chúng tôi biết điều gì đó về bạn.
Hồ sơ giao dịch
Gồm: địa chỉ email của bạn; khoá bản quyền chúng tôi cấp cho địa chỉ
đó cùng tên gói và các mốc ngày; và tuỳ cách bạn thanh toán, hoặc
là địa chỉ email PayPal, mã giao dịch và quốc gia mà PayPal báo
về, hoặc là tên trên tài khoản ngân hàng và nội dung chuyển
khoản. Nếu bạn đặt hàng qua website của chúng tôi, chúng tôi còn
thấy địa chỉ IP bạn đặt hàng từ đó. Chúng tôi KHÔNG BAO GIỜ thấy
hay giữ thông tin thẻ thanh toán của bạn, vì chúng tôi không nhận
thanh toán bằng thẻ.
Để: xử lý đơn hàng, tạo và gửi khoá bản quyền, hỗ trợ bạn khi làm mất
khoá, xử lý hoàn tiền và khiếu nại, xuất hoá đơn khi pháp luật
yêu cầu, và ghi nhận bạn ở đâu khi mua, điều mà pháp luật thuế
yêu cầu.
Căn cứ: thực hiện hợp đồng với bạn, cho việc nhận đơn và cấp khoá; tuân
thủ nghĩa vụ pháp lý, cho hồ sơ thuế, kế toán và xác định nơi
cung cấp; lợi ích hợp pháp của chúng tôi trong việc phòng chống
gian lận và trong việc khởi kiện hoặc tự bảo vệ trước khiếu kiện.
Lưu: trong thời hạn mà pháp luật thuế và kế toán nơi chúng tôi đặt trụ
sở yêu cầu, và trong thời hạn mà bất kỳ cơ chế thuế nào chúng tôi
đăng ký yêu cầu lưu hồ sơ giao dịch.
Thư từ hỗ trợ
Gồm: bất cứ điều gì bạn gửi tới support@keytools.top, và các thư trả
lời của chúng tôi.
Để: trả lời bạn.
Căn cứ: lợi ích hợp pháp của chúng tôi trong việc hỗ trợ khách hàng.
Lưu: tối đa ba năm kể từ thư cuối cùng.
Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu cá nhân, và không dùng nó cho quảng cáo hay lập hồ
sơ hành vi.
5A. AI KHÁC NHÌN THẤY DỮ LIỆU NÀY
PayPal, nếu bạn thanh toán bằng cách đó. PayPal xử lý khoản thanh toán và
tự thực hiện các phép kiểm gian lận và cấm vận của họ, với tư cách một bên
kiểm soát dữ liệu độc lập theo chính sách bảo mật của chính họ.
Ngân hàng của chúng tôi và của bạn, nếu bạn thanh toán bằng chuyển khoản.
Nhà cung cấp email của chúng tôi, bên chuyển thư giao khoá bản quyền và thư
từ hỗ trợ.
Kế toán của chúng tôi, và cơ quan thuế Việt Nam, khi pháp luật yêu cầu.
Nhà cung cấp hosting cho website của chúng tôi.
Chúng tôi không tiết lộ dữ liệu cá nhân cho bất kỳ ai khác.
5B. BẠN CÓ BẮT BUỘC PHẢI CUNG CẤP KHÔNG
Bạn không phải cung cấp dữ liệu cá nhân nào để tải về hay sử dụng Keycrawler,
kể cả bậc miễn phí.
Để mua bản quyền, chúng tôi cần địa chỉ email của bạn: khoá bản quyền được cấp
cho nó và mang theo nó, và không có địa chỉ đó thì chúng tôi không thể giao
khoá và không thể bán bản quyền cho bạn. Những gì phương thức thanh toán bạn
chọn cho chúng tôi biết là điều không tránh được, vì đó là cách chúng tôi biết
bạn đã trả tiền. Mọi thứ khác bạn gửi cho chúng tôi, kể cả nội dung trong thư
hỗ trợ, đều là tự nguyện.
6. QUYỀN CỦA BẠN
Nếu UK GDPR hoặc EU GDPR áp dụng với bạn, bạn có quyền truy cập, chỉnh sửa,
xoá, hạn chế, chuyển đi hoặc phản đối việc xử lý dữ liệu cá nhân của mình, và
quyền rút lại sự đồng ý ở nơi sự đồng ý là căn cứ xử lý. Nếu pháp luật Việt Nam
về bảo vệ dữ liệu cá nhân áp dụng với bạn, nó trao cho bạn một tập quyền tương
đương, và chúng tôi sẽ đáp ứng yêu cầu theo bất kỳ hệ nào.
Chúng tôi không đưa ra quyết định nào về bạn bằng phương tiện tự động, và không
lập hồ sơ hành vi. Không có quyết định nào tạo ra hệ quả pháp lý đối với bạn,
hoặc ảnh hưởng đáng kể tương tự tới bạn, được đưa ra một cách tự động.
Để thực hiện bất kỳ quyền nào trong số này, hãy viết tới support@keytools.top.
Chúng tôi sẽ phản hồi trong vòng một tháng.
Nếu bạn không hài lòng với phản hồi của chúng tôi, bạn có thể khiếu nại tới cơ
quan bảo vệ dữ liệu nơi bạn sinh sống. Tại Vương quốc Anh đó là Information
Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk).
Nếu bạn cư trú tại California, bạn có quyền được biết chúng tôi thu thập dữ
liệu cá nhân nào và yêu cầu xoá nó. Chúng tôi không bán hay chia sẻ dữ liệu cá
nhân theo nghĩa mà pháp luật California định nghĩa.
7. CHUYỂN DỮ LIỆU RA NƯỚC NGOÀI
Chúng tôi đặt trụ sở tại Việt Nam, và dữ liệu cá nhân mô tả ở mục 5 được chúng
tôi lưu giữ và xử lý tại đó. Việt Nam không thuộc diện có quyết định công nhận
mức bảo vệ tương xứng của Vương quốc Anh hay của Uỷ ban châu Âu. Nếu bạn mua từ
Vương quốc Anh hoặc Khu vực Kinh tế châu Âu, dữ liệu của bạn do đó được chuyển
tới một quốc gia không có quyết định công nhận tương xứng khi bạn mua hàng.
Ở nơi chúng tôi tiết lộ dữ liệu đó cho một nhà cung cấp dịch vụ ngoài Vương
quốc Anh hoặc Khu vực Kinh tế châu Âu, chúng tôi thực hiện theo Thoả thuận
Chuyển dữ liệu Quốc tế (International Data Transfer Agreement), Phụ lục UK cho
Điều khoản Hợp đồng Tiêu chuẩn của Uỷ ban châu Âu, hoặc chính các Điều khoản
Hợp đồng Tiêu chuẩn, tuỳ trường hợp.
BẠN CÓ THỂ YÊU CẦU MỘT BẢN SAO CÁC BIỆN PHÁP BẢO VỆ mà chúng tôi dựa vào, đã
lược bỏ các điều khoản thương mại, bằng cách viết tới support@keytools.top.
Các luồng dữ liệu ở mục 3 là giữa máy tính của bạn và dịch vụ bạn đã chọn.
Chúng không đi qua chúng tôi, và quốc gia đích do dịch vụ bạn cấu hình quyết
định, không phải do chúng tôi.
8. TRẺ EM
Keycrawler là công cụ chuyên nghiệp và không hướng tới trẻ em. Chúng tôi không
cố ý thu thập dữ liệu cá nhân từ bất kỳ ai dưới 16 tuổi.
9. COOKIE, ỨNG DỤNG VÀ WEBSITE CỦA CHÚNG TÔI
Ứng dụng Keycrawler không phải một website và không đặt cookie nào. Giao diện
của nó lưu tuỳ chọn ngôn ngữ, giao diện sáng tối và kích thước cửa sổ ngay trên
máy tính của bạn.
Chính sách này cũng bao gồm website của chúng tôi tại https://keytools.top. Các
trang nơi bạn mua bản quyền có đặt cookie do PayPal tạo, cần thiết để xử lý
thanh toán và phát hiện gian lận.
Khi bạn đăng nhập Google thông qua Keycrawler, trang đăng nhập mở trong TRÌNH
DUYỆT MẶC ĐỊNH của máy tính bạn, không phải bên trong Keycrawler. Mọi cookie
Google đặt do đó nằm trong hồ sơ trình duyệt thường ngày của bạn, tồn tại ở đó
theo chính sách bảo mật của Google và ngoài tầm kiểm soát của Keycrawler. Bản
thân Keycrawler chỉ nhận mã uỷ quyền mà trình duyệt của bạn trả về cho nó trên
một địa chỉ cục bộ ngay trên máy bạn.
10. THAY ĐỔI CHÍNH SÁCH NÀY
Nếu chúng tôi thay đổi chính sách này, chúng tôi sẽ công bố bản sửa đổi tại
https://keytools.top và đưa nó vào bản phát hành tiếp theo của Phần mềm. Ngày
hiệu lực ở đầu văn bản cho bạn biết đang đọc phiên bản nào.

SUMMARY
Keycrawler runs on your computer. It contains no analytics, no telemetry and no
usage reporting, and it never sends your crawl data, your settings, your API
keys or your licence key to us.
Everything Keycrawler stores, it stores on your machine. Everything Keycrawler
sends, it sends either to the site you asked it to crawl and the hosts that
site links to, or to a third-party service you chose to use.
The rest of this policy states that precisely, because a privacy claim that
cannot be checked is worth nothing.
1. WHO WE ARE
Keycrawler is published by KeyTools, an individual trader established in Viet
Nam. For the limited personal data described in section 5 -- purchase records
and support correspondence -- KeyTools is the data controller. You can reach us
at support@keytools.top.
For anything Keycrawler collects from websites you crawl, you are the
controller. We are not a processor of that data, because we never receive it.
IF YOU CRAWL PAGES THAT CONTAIN PERSONAL DATA -- names, email addresses,
comments, author bylines -- then you are processing personal data, and data
protection law places obligations on you for it. Keycrawler gives you no
exemption from them. That data stays on your computer unless you send it
somewhere yourself, and section 3.2 describes the features that do.
We are established outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area.
Where the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR requires us to designate a representative
under Article 27, that representative's name and address will be published in
this section.
As a controller established in Viet Nam we are also subject to Vietnamese
personal data protection law, in addition to any obligation we owe you under
the law of the country where you live.
We have not appointed a data protection officer, and we are not required to:
we carry out no large-scale systematic monitoring of individuals and we process
no special categories of personal data.
2. WHAT KEYCRAWLER STORES ON YOUR COMPUTER
Most of what Keycrawler writes goes to your own user profile folder, under
%USERPROFILE%\Keycrawler:
crawls\ Crawl databases. Each crawl writes a SQLite file containing
the URLs, response headers, page content, links, images and
computed metrics for the site you crawled. If you turn on
asset storage, a second file alongside it, ending
.assets.db, holds compressed page HTML and screenshots; it
is usually the largest file the product writes.
config\ settings.json, holding your settings and any third-party API
keys and Google OAuth tokens you enter; license.key if you
have activated a licence; google_client.json if you supplied
your own Google OAuth client; and a profiles folder if you
save configuration profiles.
logs\ Application logs, a faulthandler log, and crash reports
named crash_<time>.txt if the application fails.
scheduled\ The default output folder for crawls started by a schedule.
history.db A record of your past crawls, at the root of the folder.
Your licence key file contains the email address it was issued to, the plan
and the expiry date, in a form you can decode and read.
TWO THINGS ARE WRITTEN OUTSIDE THAT FOLDER, so deleting it does not remove
them:
- If you use JavaScript rendering, a copy of Chromium, roughly 150 MB, is
downloaded to %LOCALAPPDATA%\ms-playwright.
- If you schedule a crawl, Keycrawler creates a Windows Scheduled Task.
Windows stores that outside your profile. Uninstalling Keycrawler does
not remove it; delete the schedule inside Keycrawler first, or remove the
task in Windows Task Scheduler.
None of it is uploaded. Crash reports are written to disk for you to read and
send to us if you choose; Keycrawler does not transmit them.
Uninstalling Keycrawler does not delete %USERPROFILE%\Keycrawler. To remove
your data, delete that folder yourself, and see the two exceptions above.
3. WHAT LEAVES YOUR COMPUTER, AND WHEN
Keycrawler makes no network request until you ask it to. There is no
background connection, no update check and no licence server.
3.1 The website you crawl, and the hosts it links to.
When you start a crawl, Keycrawler requests pages from the address you
entered, in the same way a browser does. Those requests come from your
network and carry your IP address. You are responsible for having the
right to make them.
A CRAWL DOES NOT STAY ON THE SITE YOU ENTERED. It also requests:
- every page or file the site links to on another domain, because a
link cannot be checked without asking whether it resolves;
- resources the pages load from other hosts, such as images,
stylesheets, scripts and fonts;
- the target of any redirect a page returns, including a redirect that
leaves the site;
- URLs named by hreflang, rel=next and rel=prev annotations, including
ones on other domains.
The "Fetch resources" setting reduces this but does not stop it. With that
setting off, Keycrawler no longer follows ordinary links and sub-resources
off the site -- but it still follows redirect targets, and it still
requests hreflang, rel=next and rel=prev URLs, wherever they point.
IF YOU TURN ON JAVASCRIPT RENDERING, the bundled Chromium loads each page
the way a browser does, and therefore requests everything that page asks
for: scripts, stylesheets, fonts, tracking pixels, analytics beacons and
any other third-party request the page makes. The "Fetch resources"
setting does not govern this. A separate setting blocks images, media and
fonts during rendering; everything else is requested.
Separately, the external link check sends a HEAD request to every external
URL a crawl found, to see whether it still resolves. That runs only when
you start that check.
WHAT KEYCRAWLER CALLS ITSELF. By default it identifies as a recent version
of Google Chrome, not as Keycrawler, because many sites serve different
markup to a client they do not recognise. You can change this under Crawl
Configuration. One choice identifies the product and version. Three
choices deliberately identify as Googlebot Desktop, Googlebot Mobile or
Bingbot, and you should use those only on sites you are authorised to
crawl. A further choice lets you type any identifier you like. The
external link check always sends the Chrome identifier and is not affected
by that setting.
3.2 Third-party services.
Each of the following runs only when you invoke the feature that uses it.
Most require credentials you supply, and if you never configure one,
Keycrawler never contacts it. Two of them do not require credentials, and
they are marked.
Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
accounts.google.com, oauth2.googleapis.com, www.googleapis.com,
analyticsdata.googleapis.com, analyticsadmin.googleapis.com
Sends: your OAuth token and the site or property you selected.
You connect these through Google's own sign-in screen. The resulting
token is stored in config\settings.json on your computer.
Google PageSpeed Insights
www.googleapis.com
Sends: the URLs you asked to be measured, and your API key if you
have entered one.
NO CREDENTIAL IS REQUIRED. An API key raises the rate limit, but the
measurement runs without one, and the command-line option
--pagespeed will send your crawled URLs to Google whether or not a
key has ever been configured. Google then fetches those URLs from
its own infrastructure.
AI analysis (whichever provider you configure)
api.anthropic.com, api.openai.com,
generativelanguage.googleapis.com
Sends: your API key, and the page content, metrics and crawl summary
that the analysis is about. This is the largest outbound flow in the
product. If the pages you crawl contain confidential or personal data,
that data is sent to the AI provider you chose, and that provider's own
terms and privacy policy then apply to it. Do not enable AI analysis on
a crawl whose content you may not disclose.
Backlink providers
api.ahrefs.com, api.majestic.com, lsapi.seomoz.com
Sends: your API key and the domains or URLs you asked about.
Spelling and grammar
api.languagetool.org by default, or any address you type
Sends: the text of the pages being checked.
NO CREDENTIAL IS REQUIRED, and Keycrawler has no field for a
LanguageTool key. The server address is a setting you can change, so
the text of every page checked goes to whatever host is in that box.
The default is LanguageTool's public service. If the content matters,
point it at a LanguageTool server you run yourself.
Trello export
api.trello.com
Sends: your Trello key and token, and the cards you chose to create.
Those cards carry crawled URLs and their titles, headings and meta
descriptions, so this feature sends crawl data to Trello.
Rendering browser download
Playwright's own distribution servers
Sends: nothing but the download request itself.
JavaScript rendering needs a copy of Chromium, roughly 150 MB. If it
is not already installed, Keycrawler offers an "Install Chromium"
button; pressing it runs the bundled Playwright tool, which fetches
Chromium from Playwright's servers. This happens only when you press
that button. Keycrawler downloads nothing else and never checks for
updates to itself.
Proxy check
api.ipify.org
Sends: nothing but the request itself, through the proxy you
configured, so the reply can show you the IP address a website would
see. This runs only when you press the Check button beside the proxy
settings.
3.3 What is never sent to us.
Your licence key, your crawl databases, your settings file, your logs,
your crash reports, and any record that you installed or ran Keycrawler.
None of these reaches KeyTools by any path, at any time.
This is a statement about us, not about the world. Section 3.1 and 3.2
describe everything that goes anywhere else, and all of it goes because
you asked for it.
4. LICENCE VERIFICATION
Keycrawler verifies your licence key on your own computer using a public-key
signature. It does not contact a licence server, does not report activations,
and works with no internet connection at all.
We therefore have no record of when, where or how often you use the Software.
5. PERSONAL DATA WE DO HOLD
We hold personal data only where you give it to us directly, or where a
payment you make tells us something about you.
Purchase records
What: your email address; the licence key we issued to it and its plan
and dates; and, depending on how you paid, either the PayPal
email address, transaction reference and country PayPal reports
to us, or the name on the bank account and the reference used for
a transfer. If you order through our website we also see the IP
address you ordered from. We never see or hold your payment card
details, because we do not accept payment cards.
Why: to take your order, create and send your licence key, help you if
you lose it, deal with refunds and disputes, issue an invoice
where the law requires one, and record where you were when you
bought, which tax law requires.
Basis: performance of our contract with you, for taking the order and
issuing the key; compliance with a legal obligation, for the tax,
accounting and place-of-supply records; our legitimate interests
in preventing fraud and in bringing or defending legal claims.
Kept: for as long as the tax and accounting law where we are
established requires, and for as long as any tax scheme we are
registered under requires us to keep records of a sale.
Support messages
What: anything you send to support@keytools.top, and our replies.
Why: to answer you.
Basis: our legitimate interest in supporting our customers.
Kept: up to three years from the last message.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or
profiling.
5A. WHO ELSE SEES IT
PayPal, if you pay that way. PayPal processes your payment and runs its
own fraud and sanctions checks, acting as a controller in its own right
under its own privacy policy.
Our bank and yours, if you pay by transfer.
Our email provider, which carries the message delivering your licence key
and our support correspondence.
Our accountant, and the Vietnamese tax authorities, where the law requires
it.
Our website host.
We disclose personal data to nobody else.
5B. WHETHER YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT TO US
You do not have to give us any personal data to download or use Keycrawler,
including the free tier.
To buy a licence, we need your email address: the licence key is issued to it
and carries it, and without it we cannot deliver the key and cannot sell you a
licence. Whatever your chosen payment method tells us is unavoidable, because
that is how we know you paid. Everything else you send us, including anything
in a support message, is voluntary.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
If the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access,
rectify, erase, restrict, port or object to the processing of your personal
data, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for it. If
Vietnamese personal data protection law applies to you, it gives you a
comparable set of rights, and we will honour a request under either.
We take no decision about you by automated means, and we carry out no
profiling. No decision producing legal effects concerning you, or similarly
significantly affecting you, is made automatically.
To exercise any of these rights, write to support@keytools.top. We will respond
within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the data
protection authority where you live. In the United Kingdom that is the
Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal data
we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal data as
those terms are defined by California law.
7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We are established in Viet Nam, and the personal data described in section 5 is
held and processed by us there. Viet Nam is not the subject of an adequacy
decision by the United Kingdom or by the European Commission. If you buy from
the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, your data is therefore
transferred to a country without an adequacy decision when you buy.
Where we disclose that data to a service provider outside the United Kingdom or
the European Economic Area, we do so under the International Data Transfer
Agreement, the UK Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual
Clauses, or the Standard Contractual Clauses themselves, as applicable.
YOU MAY OBTAIN A COPY OF THE SAFEGUARDS WE RELY ON, with commercial terms
removed, by writing to support@keytools.top.
The data flows in section 3 are between your computer and the service you
chose. They do not pass through us, and the destination country is determined
by the service you configured, not by us.
8. CHILDREN
Keycrawler is a professional tool and is not directed at children. We do not
knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
9. COOKIES, THE APPLICATION AND OUR WEBSITE
The Keycrawler application is not a website and sets no cookies. Its interface
stores your language, theme and window preferences locally on your computer.
This policy also covers our website at https://keytools.top. Pages where you
buy a licence set cookies placed by PayPal, which are necessary to process a
payment and to detect fraud.
Where you sign in to Google through Keycrawler, the sign-in page opens in your
computer's DEFAULT WEB BROWSER, not inside Keycrawler. Any cookies Google sets
are therefore set in your ordinary browser profile, where they persist under
Google's privacy policy and outside Keycrawler's control. Keycrawler itself
receives only the authorisation code your browser hands back to it on a local
address on your own machine.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy we will publish the revised version at
https://keytools.top and include it with the next release of the Software. The
effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
